What job can I do with my disability?
random_person asked the question:
I can’t stand up for long periods of time and need to sit a lot because of a neurological problem. I’ve tried cashier and food service jobs, but usually don’t even physically make it through the first day.
I also don’t have a car. I have a few years of college, but no degree. I can’t afford to go back right now.
If I don’t find something in the next couple months, I’ll run out of savings. Are my chances really as bad as they seem?
Please, NO work at home jobs. I’ve tried those and they’re all scams.
I can’t get aid because there are so many people in my city needing it, there’s not enough to go around. They told me I’m not priority because I’m not homeless yet.
I’ve been trying to find a receptionist or call center job, but it seems like nobody is hiring They never call me back.
Surely there are SOME minimum wage jobs that don’t require physical demands; there are several disabled people without an education out there, so where do they work?

I have no choice but to move out very soon and i don’t want to settle for less and struggle to barely get by. Some help is very much needed!!!!!!

I want a job with an airline company. Where can I find jobs?
SolarRain asked the question:
I am in college now and am seeking a good part time job with an airline. I will be 21 in a few weeks and am interested in flight attendant, but my husband will not be 21 until May and we want to do that together.
I would like to be a ticket taker, food service, or something part time like that. Continental, Delta, Cayman Airways, British, SWA, all have engineer jobs or other things that take 10 years of college. Where else can I get these jobs through?

I have to keep my job top secret from my church. Can I just say food services when asked?
Kate-Ann asked the question:
Ok I am currently undergoing training to become a barmaid. I am just going to be a barmaid to get through college.I am switching jobs.I don’t want to be a nurse aide anymore because I can’t live off the wages nurse aides are paid.I have 2 more weeks of bartending school
I am Pentecostal. And my church is a huge famous church who is on the radio and television.Pretty much everyone knows my church and the pastor. My church is laid back but it is strict in certain areas.
If my pastor finds out that I’m a barmaid he will go nuclear and he will kick me out the choir and church.I don’t want that to happen.
One lady at my church is banned from being in any ministries because she’s a stripper. It was found out that she was a stripper and she was investigated and admitted it and then she was kicked out the choir. She can come to church but she can’t be in any ministries until she quits her job as a stripper.
Another man was kicked out of a ministry because he’s a bouncer at a club.
I do not want to get kicked out.
So if the question arises about what I do for a living can I just say I work in food services?
Can I just say “My job is top secret.I can’t discuss it.”?
With the economy being the way it is, I need this barmaid job.I gotta do what I gotta do to keep a roof over my head, food on the table, and clothes on my back.
But I can’t let my pastor or any member of my church know what I do for a living once I get this job.

College in the fall seems to be ruining my chances of finding a full time job?
Desiree asked the question:
I’m 20 years old and have worked in food service since age 16. I would like to pursue a job in retail but most of the stores I applied to said they are only looking for full time employees. One store in particular said they have an opening for a store manager but when they found out I’m attending college in the fall, they lost interest in hiring me. Should I lie and tell them I’m not going to college after all? My parents have the burden of paying my car and insurance payments right now but I would really like to take on responsibility for myself. I don’t know what my class schedule will be like yet but it may be possible for me to work full time and go to school, so what should I tell the store? I really need this job, no one else in or around my small town is hiring.
